HOW IT WORKS

AquaGuard-B1 transforms any standard ball valve or gate valve into a smart, automatic shutoff in about three minutes. The actuator clamps onto your existing valve handle without tools, auto-calibrates to learn the valve's exact rotation range, and waits.

When any paired AquaSensor-S1 detects water — under a sink, behind the washer, near the water heater — or when the included plug-in probe detects water at the actuator itself, AquaGuard-B1 closes the main valve automatically. At the same moment, the Custos Gateway dispatches a 24/7 alert to the Custos App, an SMS, a phone call, and an email. You know exactly what happened and where, within seconds.

The patented micro-powertrain is what makes the difference on tough valves. Stiff, rusted, or decades-old valves that ordinary actuators stall on, AquaGuard-B1's 8 N·m drive handles routinely. Auto-calibration measures actual valve resistance on every install — never blindly forcing past spec, never under-turning a stiff valve.

Even if your internet connection or Custos Gateway is down, the wired plug-in probe keeps AquaGuard-B1 capable of shutting off the water on its own.
